Recently, the ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey conducted by India Today and C-Voter has revealed that if Lok Sabha elections are held in the country today, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) can get a clear majority.
According to the survey, NDA is likely to get 324 seats, while the opposition INDIA alliance can get 208 seats and other parties are estimated to get 11 seats.
In the party-wise figures, BJP is expected to get the maximum 260 seats, which is an increase of 20 seats compared to 2024. At the same time, Congress can get 97 seats, which is two seats less than last time.
Talking about vote share, NDA is expected to get 47 percent, INDIA alliance 41 percent and others 12 percent votes. BJP alone can get 41 percent votes, while Congress is likely to get 21 percent votes.
This survey indicates that the public sentiment is once again leaning towards the NDA, although the opposition is also in a position to give a strong challenge.
